When you start your biking Adventure you obviously have to figure out what style of biking you want to pursue. There's three General categories which are mountain, Road and downhill biking. Mountain biking is more focused on uphill and pedaling and then eventually going down. downhill as you could probably guess, is it purely focused on going downhill and hitting jumps. End the last Lee Road biking is typically more used for commuting but in some cases it is used for riding long-distance. There's obviously a lot of subsections that you can specify but you want to pick out one of these to get started.
How to Chouse a Bike
Obviously, a very big step for this hobby is selecting a bike to ride. Once you've chosen your style of riding, you can go to any of the popular bike suppliers. A few common ones are KHS, Specialized, and Shimano. When you're browsing you want to take into consideration the price first and foremost and also the size of the bike. They will typically have a chart to describe the size of the bike you need as well as style. For example, if somebody is 6 ft tall, they will need a 19 in frame. But if somebody is 5ft 10in they will need a 17 inch frame bike. Be careful when you're looking not to read off of the rim size. People often confuse rim size with frame size considering they are relatively similar.So when you're choosing or biking look out for the style and size.

You've chosen your style, you found your bike, so now you need somewhere to ride it. When you're choosing a trail to ride, you obviously want to pick one adequate to your skill level. You don't want to choose one that is too hard but you also don't want to choose one that's too easy for you. There is a rating system that you can use to determine which trail you ride and how. The system ranges from Blue Square to Double Black Diamond. Obviously, if you're starting out, you want to try the blue squares and work your way through the greens, then blacks, and then eventually Black Diamonds.
