How much is a good bike?

This varies greatly depending on what you define as a good bike. A mountain biker that likes to hit the jumps will consider a good bike to be around $4,000. However, a commuter would consider a good bike to be something that shifts through all the gears and doesn't have a flat tire which is around four hundred bucks for a brand spanking new one.

Where are some short trails?

If you're looking for short and sweet trails to ride, you can go to any of your local parks and you can ride around on any of the trails there. You might start at Rock Ridge or Sunriver biking trail system. If you're looking for something a little more technical, you can go to a place like Phil's Trail and they’ll have small runs you can do there without having to devote too much time.

How effective are e-bikes?

E-bikes are definitely gaining more traction in the consumer market and they are becoming more and more adaptive to any situation. The batteries are getting longer, the bikes are getting lighter, and the controls are getting easier to use.

Where can I rent an e-bike?

Like I said, e-bikes are becoming more and more prominent today so most of the bike shops that rent bikes will also have ebikes. You can be sure by just Googling their store.

Do I need a helmet?

Yes, of course you need a helmet whenever you are riding, but especially if you're zipping through trees at 20 miles an hour. You don't want to fall off and bust your head open on a rock. Kids under 16 are legally required to wear a helmet while adults have a choice.

How do you do basic bike upkeep?

There's three main things that you need to look at whenever you're keeping up on your bike maintenance. You want to check and make sure your tire is always at the correct PSI, your derailleur is lined up, and your chain is lubricated well.

What is the easiest way to transport a bike?

I would recommend looking on Amazon for a bike hitch. An average price would be around a hundred bucks for one.
